	2010 - August - AGM
	The KAN AGM was held at Mentone RSL on the 12th August, with a number of members enjoying dinner prior to the formalities. Thank you to all who attended our Annual General Meeting!  It was terrific to see familiar faces and to welcome new members.  During the meeting special thanks were extended to those who have served KAN well over the past years, including Dorothy Plummer, Helen Merrick-Andrews (for all her past work, in particular KANdeLight and the KAN Calender), and to Jennie Wragge who retired after many years as KAN Treasurer. The new Committee was elected, and since the AGM we now have a Treasurer and additional Committee Members.  More details to follow...
	2010 - June - Chelsea Heights Primary School Art Show
	This year, Kingston Arts Network was invited to be involved in the judging of the Chelsea Heights Primary School Art Show held on the 16th June 2010.  President Tony had the challenging task of judging the categories of Prep, Grades 1 & 2 and Grades 3 & 4, whilst world famous local artist Craig Penny judged the Grade 5 & 6.  Sammy Nuttall was invited along to take some photographs.  Both Tony and Sammy were amazed at the creations of the children and the Art Show as a whole.  Well done to all involved.  Below are a few of the images, or click here to view lots more...
	2010 - June - Fun 4 Over 50's
	The "Fun 4 Over 50's Lifestyle Expo" was once again held at Kingston City Hall on the weekend of the 5th & 6th of June.  KAN were invited to participate to promote the benefits of KAN to those over 50 in our community.  Perhaps you saw our President Tony manning the KAN Display?  Thanks for all your time and effort, Tony.
	2010 - April - Committee Meeting
	The April Committee Meeting was an opportunity to say "Bon Voyage" to a couple of our Committee Members.  KAN is seeking a new Treasurer as our present Treasurer will finish at the end of the financial year after serving KAN for many years.  May KANdeLight is now available if you'd like to read more.
	2010 - April - Network Evening
	An interesting Show and Tell, followed by fun with sketching.  Members of the Joy of Art group shared some of their ideas about the importance of sketching and offered a number of different techniques for us to try.  Some KAN members seemed quite at home with the ideas and tasks presented, whilst for those less comfortable with creativity involving a 4B pencil and sketch pad, it provided a great (but inspiring) challenge.  Special thanks to Ron and the Joy Of Art team for their contribution. 	Not many photos were taken on this evening as the camera only emerged as the last of us were walking out the door!  We'll try to be more organised next time.  If anyone has an image of their 4B creation, we'd love to add some more to this page.  Thanks!
